In the period 10-15 July 2017, head of the Science and Doctorate Division of the Academy of Public Administration, Silvia Dulschi, Ph.D., associate professor, eDrone project manager, and Tatiana Castraşan, methodist, senior lecturer, participated in two workshops organized within the project "Educational for Drone (eDrone)", which took place in the cities of Tbilisi (Georgia) and Yerevan (Armenia),
The Workshop on eDrone Tehnology was hosted by the project partner, Ilia State University in Tbilisi, working sessions in English. The participants in the workshop were welcomed by the rector of the host university, ambassadors of Italy and Poland to Georgia, Lika Glonti, the head of the ERASMUS + National Office in Georgia, and the project coordinator, prof. Pasquale Daponte, Sannio University, Italy.
Within this workshop, the partners from the Military University of Technology, Poland, presented the report on the WP1 action package on drone technology, and the Georgia partners delivered information on the trends of technological evolution of the drones in European countries.
The program also included discussions on the organization of laboratories to train trainers within the project, to provide laboratories with the necessary equipment. The issues faced by partners in achieving this objective have been invoked.

Partners from the Academy of Public Administration, State Agrarian University of Moldova, Military University of Technology of Poland presented the enterprises that were visited within the WP1 package of the project, reported about their mission and collaboration with them for organizing training courses for teaching the collaborators of these institutions on the use of drones.
The second Workshop on Laws for Drones was held at the Armenian State University of Economics, Yerevan, on July 13, 2017.
The participants were welcomed by Koryun Atoyan, Rector of Armenian State University of Economics, Giovanni Ricciulli, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Armenia, Jerzy Marek Nowakowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Yerevan, Lana Karlova, coordinator of the ERASMUS+ National Office in Armenia, Pasquale Daponte, coordinator of the eDrone project, Sannio University, Italy.
During the workshop, the project partners presented legislation on drones in EU countries and partner countries: Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, and Moldova.
A special venue was the discussion on the implementation and organization of the eDrone courses provided by the WP3 package. According to the Action Plan of the project, the leaders for the implementation of the WP3 work package presented the planned activities, management, quality and evaluation of the results.
Participants in the two workshops also discussed the project's website. As a result of the discussions, opportunities for future collaboration were identified, in particular: Joint development of the WP3 package of the project and its implementation.
The program of meetings also provided visits to Echmiatsin, one of the oldest cities in the Ararat Plain, former Armenian capital of 180 and 340 AD, and Lake Sevan, the largest stretch of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region, and one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in Eurasia.
Participation in the workshops in Tbilisi and Yerevan will have a positive impact on the organization of activities within the Action Plan of the project, but also on strengthening the relations with the institutions represented at these meetings.
